Job Description

The Junior Web Applications Designer will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly web applications. They should have a strong understanding of web design principles and be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop user-friendly web applications: Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices and platforms.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the scope of web application projects.
3. Create wireframes and prototypes: Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and user flows. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary iterations.
4. Implement responsive design principles: Ensure that web applications are designed and developed to be responsive and optimized for different screen sizes and resolutions.
5. Conduct usability testing: Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of web application designs and gather user feedback for further improvements.
6. Stay updated with industry trends: Keep up to date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the design and functionality of web applications.

Skills & Experience

1. Knowledge of web design principles: The Junior Web Applications Designer should have a solid understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and be able to apply them to create intuitive and visually appealing web applications.
2. Proficiency in front-end technologies: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. The ideal candidate should be familiar with frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
3. Familiarity with graphic design tools: Experience with graphic design tools like Photoshop or Sketch is preferred. Ability to create visually appealing web designs and UI elements is a plus.
4. Strong problem-solving skills: The Junior Web Applications Designer should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to identify and resolve technical issues related to web application design and functionality.
5. Attention to detail: The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to ensure that web applications are designed and implemented according to the specified requirements.
6. Ability to work in a team: The Junior Web Applications Designer should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
